The Journal's doing a Nike?
I have a been a huge of The Wall Street Journal - reading it cover to cover every day since I have been in the US. Expensive but paid for the print and online service throughout - it was/is totally worth it. Warren Buffet is the other who will give you the same testimonial - apart from the Journal, the only service he pays for online, I have read, is for buying stuff on Amazon.
Anyway - when I saw these ads in the journal today, I felt they were trying to have Sheryl Crow, David Neeleman, Paul Teutul (the Discovery channel Chopper guy - who, btw, will also be in HP's first Super Bowl ads this Sunday), Jake Burton (professional snowboarder) and a few more do to them what Air Jordan and a huge army of sports legends did to Nike.
I sincerely hope they succeed - I want that paper around since there is nothing more relaxing for me than a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning with the Wall Street Journal!
